JAKARTA - Presidential candidate number 1 Anies Baswedan advised the public to choose a pair of presidential and vice presidential candidates by considering several things. One of them is the pattern of character or thoughts of each candidate.

The former governor of DKI Jakarta emphasized that the candidate for leadership who deserves to be elected by the people in the 2024 presidential election is the person responsible.

However, the most important consideration in determining the choice of presidential and vice presidential candidates, according to Anies, is the figure of a leader who can make decisions in carrying out his duties and policies.

"Well, a person making a decision is expected to have experience, have knowledge, have insight, have openness. So, the decision taken is a decision that provides benefits for many people because later they will be given the task of making decisions," said Anies.

For example, a wise attitude in making a leader's decision can be seen from the use of the government budget allocated every year. This, continued Anies, must be carried out by taking sides with all the people.

Anies assesses how to see how the current presidential and vice presidential candidates are made is by looking at the performance that has been carried out previously.
