Hotline Paris, Anies Program Helps Free Legal Assistance For Citizens

PEKANBARU - Presidential candidate number 1 Anies Rasyid Baswedan promised free legal protection through the Hotline Paris program which made it easier for the community during their campaign in Pekanbaru City, Riau.

According to him, one of the state's responsibilities is to provide legal assistance to the people. Therefore Anies will prepare lawyers to make it easier for people in need.

"We will allocate the budget, more than what has been prepared now. We are also preparing lawyers who want to provide knowledge and knowledge to defend the people," he said at the Sudirman Pekanbaru Sports Center as reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, December 13.

According to Anies, this assistance is very much needed for the small people because there are still many people who do not have a way to get legal assistance.

"This is one of our efforts to make people feel protected. For the strong people, they have a path to getting lawyers, but for the weak, they have no way to get it. So we provide assistance," he said.

Later, Anies continued, through this program, his party will also prepare a number that can be reached 24 hours by the public. "The hotline number is indeed a free lawyer number. So the name is Hotline Paris," he continued.

Hotline Paris itself was taken from one of the famous lawyers Hotman Paris. In this regard, Anies said he had communicated and received a positive response from Hotman Paris.

"The response was positive. Maybe he was one of the first lawyers to be invited," said Anies.

Anies during his activity in Pekanbaru visited and visited Kampung Bata, which is the outskirts of the capital city of Riau Province. Then he gave a speech in front of his supporters at GOR Sudirman Pekanbaru.

Anies conveyed political speeches about change programs, including eradicating corruption, affordable basic food prices, improving infrastructure, improving the quality of education, health, and meeting community needs and eradicating poverty.
