Coordinating Minister For Human Development And Culture Conveys Ideas Of Fostering Characters Of The Young Generation Towards A Golden Indonesia

MAKASSAR - Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture (Menko PMK) Muhadjir Effendy, conveyed the idea of fostering the character of the younger generation towards Golden Indonesia in 2045. This was conveyed in the National Working Gathering (Silaknas) of the Indonesian Muslim Cendekiawan Association (ICMI) in Makassar, Saturday.

Muhadjir Effendy conveyed the idea relevant to Indonesia's ideals of becoming independent, sovereign, just and prosperous in 2045 when our country celebrates 100 years of independence.

"As a nation that has the potential for natural resource wealth, extraordinary diversity. Indonesia has a big vision, namely Indonesia Gold 2045," he said.

The younger generation is the backbone of the nation. They are heirs to the future who will carry out a big responsibility in realizing the nation's ideals of the vision of Indonesia Gold 2045. This means that soon there will be only 22 years and it will belong to the younger generation who are now 18 and over.

"They will be aged 35 years and over. They will have Indonesia, if given a long life we can see," he said.

According to estimates, he continued, Indonesia will become a developed country if the gross national income is 30,600 US dollars per capita, where currently it is still 5,000 US dollars per capita. To become a developed country requires six times more than the current position.

"So we are not very good, although our current growth rate is relatively good compared to 20 large countries," he explained

Meanwhile, Acting Governor of South Sulawesi Bahtiar Bahharuddin, said that the ICMI activity provides colors on domestic political education in 2024. Because all candidates for President of the Republic of Indonesia were invited to provide ideas about Indonesia's development strategy.

"I asked why in Makassar, apparently many national political figures are from Makassar. We report them as the Director General of Politics and General Government and the Governor of South Sulawesi, this area is the most conducive," he said.

To the audience, he explained about the philosophy of the Sipakatau, Sipakange and Sipakalebbi regions. Having meaning, Sipaka or is a human nature.

This means that as humans, they must respect each other, be polite, and not discriminate in any condition regardless of ethnicity, religion, race, and class to fellow human beings. The concept of humanizing humans is also an attitude that adheres to the values of justice, equality, and the value of brotherhood.

Sipakalebbi is a property of mutual glorification or respect. The nature of respecting means that humans are creatures who like to be treated properly and properly. And the noble nature has the meaning as a prohibition to see the shortcomings that exist in others.

Finally, Sipakange is the nature of reminding each other. This is inseparable from the shortcomings possessed by humans themselves who sometimes forget. Therefore, it is appropriate to remind each other when they forget each other.
