President Jokowi Is Scheduled To Attend The Projo National Working Meeting This Afternoon

JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo is scheduled to attend the VIth DPP Projo national working meeting at the Bung Karno Arena Indonesia Gelora (GBK), Senayan, Jakarta, on Saturday, October 14, this afternoon.

Chairman of the National Working Meeting Committee and Chairman of the Projo DPP Bapilpres, Panel Barus, said that President Jokowi will always open the event for the Chairperson of the Projo Board of Trustees.

"The event starts at 14.00 WIB at the Indonesia Arena GBK," said the Panel Chair to reporters, Saturday, October 14.

Meanwhile, Jokowi is scheduled to give a directional speech at 15.00 WIB.

The panel revealed that Projo had spread around 200 invitations to a number of parties, including national politicians related to the 2024 presidential election.

Including Gerindra General Chair Prabowo Subianto and Solo Mayor Gibran Rakabuming Raka who are rumored to be paired as presidential and vice presidential candidates in the 2024 presidential election.

"We have invited many figures," he said.

Meanwhile, the presidential candidate for the Advanced Indonesia Coalition, Prabowo Subianto, confirmed that he would attend the Projo National Working Meeting today.

However, Prabowo denied the rumors that there was a declaration of himself and the Mayor of Solo, Gibran Rakabuming, as a pair of presidential and vice presidential candidates for the 2024 presidential election.

"I was invited right tomorrow, I was invited in the afternoon. Maybe some figures were invited too, all came, if invited they had to come, it's not good if invited not to come," Prabowo said in Kertanegara, Friday, October 13.

"(About Prabowo-Gibran's declaration, ed). I don't know tomorrow, we'll invite it," he said.
