Today's Weather Forecast, Most Of Indonesia Is Sunny And Cloudy

JAKARTA - The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) on an official website broadcast in Jakarta, Saturday, September 30, predicts that most parts of Indonesia will be covered with sunny cloudy weather. In Sumatra, BMKG predicts sunny cloudy weather conditions covering a number of cities, such as Banda Aceh, Padang, Palembang, and Medan.

As for sunny weather, it is predicted that it will be in Bengkulu and Bandar Lampung, while in Tanjung Pinang it is predicted to be cloudy, and Pekanbaru with thicker clouds.

In Java and Nusa Tenggara, sunny cloudy weather is forecasted to include Serang, Denpasar, Yogyakarta, and Semarang.

As for sunny weather, it is predicted that it will occur in DKI Jakarta, Surabaya, and Kupang. Cloudy weather is also predicted to occur in Bandung and Mataram.

Turning to Kalimantan Island, sunny cloudy weather is forecasted to cover Samarinda, Tarakan, and Pangkal Pinang. While the weather is sunny, it is predicted that it will occur in Banjarmasin and Pontianak in the rain accompanied by lightning.

Furthermore, in Sulawesi and Eastern Indonesia, sunny cloudy weather is forecasted to include Ternate, Mamuju, Kendari, and Manado. As for the sunny weather, it is predicted that it will occur in Makassar and Gorontalo.

Regarding the potential for the rainy season, BMKG's Sub-Coordinator for Climate Analysis and Information, Amsari Mudzakir Setiawan said a number of areas, such as South Sumatra, Lampung, mostly Banten, Jakarta, and West Java, are predicted to enter the rainy season in November 2023.

In addition, in most of Central Java, parts of East Java, Bali, a small part of NTB, a small part of NTT, North Sulawesi, Gorontalo, parts of Central Sulawesi, mostly South Sulawesi, northern North Maluku, and southern South Papua are predicted to enter the rainy season in November 2023.

Meanwhile, most of northern East Java, parts of NTB, parts of NTT, mostly Southeast Sulawesi, is predicted to only enter the rainy season in December 2023.

"The peak for the 2023-2024 rainy season is generally predicted to occur in January-February 2024 at 385 ZOM (Zona Season) or 55.1 percent in Indonesia," said Amsari Mudzakir Setiawan.
