The WEST COASTAL - Civil Service Police Unit officers and firefighters together with residents on Friday worked hand in hand to extinguish the land fire that occurred in Pekon (Village) Way Redak, Central Coast District, West Coast Regency, Lampung.

Head of the Civil Service Police Unit and West Coast Fire Department Cahyadi Muis said a fire engine had been operated to support efforts to extinguish land fires in Pekon Way Redak.

"Personnel and the community are jointly trying to extinguish the fire," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Friday, September 15.

According to a resident's statement, the land fire in PekonWay Redak quickly grew because the wind was strong.
