The police examined a number of witnesses regarding a 69-year-old grandfather Natsir who died at the financing office on Jalan Topaz, Panakkukang District, Makassar, South Sulawesi.

Panakkukang Police Chief, Kompol Joko Pamungkas said that currently his party had examined several witnesses from the finance office.

In addition to examining several witnesses at the TKP, his party also secured a number of evidences in the form of CCTV footage, chairs and light fire extinguishers (APAR).

"We summoned the witnesses at the crime scene, questioned. We have also processed the crime scene and collected evidence," he said, Sunday, August 27.

Joko explained that the deceased had fainted unconscious. The victim went to the financing office alone to ask about the installments of his two-wheeled vehicle.

"We received information from residents that a middle-aged man fainted, was unconscious. Our personnel came to the location to evacuate and provide services," he said.

Police officers then provided first aid by taking the victim to Sandi Karsa Hospital (RS) on Jalan Abdullah Daeng Sirua.

"Arriving at the hospital, it was stated by the doctor that he had died," he said.

Joko added that when he was declared dead, his party then coordinated with the South Sulawesi Police Biddokes Dokpol for further investigation.

"There it is handled by the forensic team for examination to determine the cause of death," he added.

He also has not confirmed whether the victim was mistreated or not. The reason is that during the examination, the doctor also found a heart drug in the victim's pocket.

"We also found several drugs brought by the victim at that time. They were heart drugs based on information from the hospital," he said.
