GUNUNGKIDUL - The Health Office of Gunungkidul Regency, Yogyakarta Special Region, has again taken blood samples from two residents in Semanu District because their bodies appeared wounds that were suspected to be caused by extrax.

Head of the Gunungkidul Health Service, Dewi Irawaty, said officers had taken a sample of the area and were immediately taken to the laboratory to confirm the type of disease in question.

"The samples have been taken, but the results have not been released," said Dewi Irawaty, quoted by ANTARA, Friday, July 14.

Previously, the Gunungkidul Health Office had taken blood samples from residents in Padukuhan Jati, Candirejo Village/Kurahan, because in the area dozens of livestock died due to attack.

In addition, there was one person who died and several people were hospitalized due to attack.

Officers conducted a search of the public to find out about his relationship with the case in Padukuhan Jati.

"Currently, we are still investigating the history of why the two people have anti-extraction symptoms," said Dewi.

Meanwhile, the chairman of the Gunungkidul DPRD, Endah Subekti Kuntariningsih, said that his party recommended that the regent establish an anti-exact KLB status. This is in order to take advantage of the Unexpected Expenditure Budget (BTT).

In addition to antracks, it can also be used for other livestock diseases such as Lumpy Skin Disease (LSD) and Mouth and Nail Disease (PMK).

"BTT is down, it can be maximized for handling, including socialization to the community," said Endah.

According to him, the Gunungkidul Regency Government should move quickly and systematically, especially Gunungkidul, including livestock warehouses. The Gunungkidul DPRD provides recommendations, one of which is related to BETraks on Tuesday, July 18, 2023.

"There must be fast movement, one of which is through this KLB. People rely heavily on the livestock sector," said Endah.
