Pilgrims From Central Java-DIY Who Died In The Holy Land Reached 72 People

BOYOLALI - The number of members of the Hajj pilgrims from Central Java Province and Yogyakarta Special Region (DIY) who died was recorded at 72 people according to the latest data in the Integrated Hajj Information and Computerization System.

Public Relations of the Hajj Organizing Committee (PPIH) Solo Debarkation Gentur Rama Indriyadi said, citing data from the Integrated Hajj Information and Computerization System which showed that Hajj pilgrims from Central Java and DIY who died in the Holy Land increased by five to a total of 70 people.

Five members of the pilgrims who recently died in Saudi Arabia include one member of the 71 flying group (cluter) from Cilacap, one member of the 65th group from Boyolali, two members of the 38th batch from Pemalang, and one member of the 65th group from Klaten.

"Meanwhile (who died) in the country increased by one person to two people, bringing the total to 72 people," said Gentur as quoted by Antara, Saturday, July 8.

"The number of Solo Debarkation Hajj pilgrims who died was 72 people, consisting of 67 people from Central Java Province and five DIY people," he added.

Gentur said that a member of the Hajj congregation died at Dr Moewardi Hospital Solo on Friday (7/7) due to illness and his body had been taken to the area of origin for burial.

According to him, the member of batch 5 from Demak Regency experienced respiratory problems on his way to the country so he was immediately taken to the hospital as soon as the plane he was traveling on landed at Adi Soemarmo Boyolali Airport on Thursday (6/7) at 07.20 WIB.

Meanwhile, PPIH Debarkasi Solo received the arrival of pilgrims from Semarang City who were members of batch 11 on Saturday at around 08.00 WIB.

The pilgrims who arrived at Adi Soemarmo Airport in Boyolali on Saturday at around 08.00 WIB covered 357 people.

PPIH Debarkasi Solo has completely repatriated 3,957 hajjes to their area of origin and on Saturday it is scheduled to repatriate two congregational groups, namely group 11 from Semarang City and batch 12 from Semarang City which are scheduled to land at 20.30 WIB.

There are 48 members of the Solo Debarkation Hajj pilgrims who are sick in Saudi Arabia. Members of sick pilgrims undergoing treatment at Saudi Arabian hospitals and Indonesian Hajj Health Clinics (KKHI) in Saudi Arabia.
