JAKARTA - Vice President Ma'ruf Amin and Mrs. Wury Ma'ruf Amin left for Bali to open the 18th Asia Pacific High Level Conference in 2023 or The 18th Asia Media Summit 2023.

Using a Boeing 737-400 TNI AU aircraft, Vice President Ma'ruf and his entourage departed for Bali from Halim Perdanakusuma Airport in Jakarta at around 14.00 WIB and will arrive at I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport, Badung Regency, Bali, at around 16.50 WITA, Monday, May 22.

The vice president was accompanied by the Governor of Bali I Wayan Koster and his next entourage to the Bali Tourism Development Corporation (BTDC) Tourism Area, Nusa Dua to rest.

The next day, Tuesday (23/5), Vice President Ma'ruf is scheduled to open Asia Media Summit 2023 which will be held at Grand Hyatt Bali.

Decision makers, media professionals, scholars, and news and program stakeholders from Asia Pacific, Africa, Europe, the Middle East, and North America will attend the annual conference.

Through the theme "Media Enhanced Economic Sustainability", Indonesia encourages the role of the media, especially in Asia Pacific, to contribute to a sustainable economy.

Members of the Asia-Pacific Institute Broadcasting Development (AIBD) will discuss and sharpen this role in order to strengthen collaboration with the community, industrial sector, and government.
