BEKASI - Facing the threat of mouth and foot disease (FMD) in livestock ahead of Eid al-Adha 2022, the Bekasi Regency Government has formed a team of animal health supervisors.
The Head of Animal Health at the Bekasi Regency Agriculture Service Dwiyan Wahyudiharto said the team consisted of the Indonesian Veterinary Association (PDHI) West Java Branch 5.
"This supervisory team is tasked with ensuring the health of the sacrificial animals that will be sold before Eid al-Adha," said Dwiyan in Cikarang, Bekasi Regency, Tuesday, June 7.
He said the animal health supervisory team consisted of 30 personnel from regional apparatus in the Bekasi Regency Government plus West Java PDHI officers.
