HONOR Announces Official MagicOS 10 Global Schedule, Updates Rolling until Q2 2026
JAKARTA - HONOR has finally released the official launch schedule for MagicOS 10 for global devices, after previously only introducing the Android 16-based interface without certainty of distribution time. The update has been rolling out since the end of 2025 and is targeted to be completed in the second quarter of 2026.
MagicOS 10 brings significant changes compared to the previous generation, ranging from a new visual display, system-level improvements, to Android core updates. HONOR says that the majority of eligible device users will receive this update by mid-2026.
The first wave starts in October 2025, with the HONOR Magic7 Pro and Magic7 Pro RSR as the initial recipients. Furthermore, starting in November, updates began reaching HONOR 400, HONOR 400 Pro, MagicPad 3, as well as the Magic V5 folding phone.

The previous generation flagship devices are not left behind. HONOR Magic6 RSR, Magic6 Pro, and Magic V3 are scheduled to receive MagicOS 10 starting January 2026. Meanwhile, Magic5 Pro and MagicPad 2 will follow in February.
Entering the end of the first quarter of 2026, it's the turn of most mid-range devices that will get updates. The next big wave takes place in March, covering the Magic V2, Magic V2 RSR, Magic Vs, HONOR 200 Pro, HONOR 200, HONOR 400 Smart, and Pad X8a.
The final phase begins in April 2026, marking the distribution of MagicOS 10 for the remaining devices. The list includes Magic8 Lite, Magic7 Lite, HONOR 400 Lite, HONOR 200 Lite, X6b, Pad X9a, Pad V9, and Pad 10.
With the roadmap now clear, HONOR is sending a strong signal about its long-term commitment to software updates. Not all Android vendors dare to be transparent about update schedules, so this move could be a plus point. There is only one classic question: whether the update notification comes on time, or comes like a guest who says "otw" but only appears an hour later.
