ジャカルタ - Epic Gamesは、App Storeでの同社の収益分配の条件をめぐって、何年もAppleと戦ってきた。

以前、Appleは、アプリストアの特定のボタンとラベルのデザインがApp Storeに似ていたため、Epic Games Storeの立ち上げを拒否したと伝えられている。

しかし、Appleは、欧州連合(EU)のユーザー向けに、iPhoneおよびiPad上のEpic Gamesアプリストアの存在を承認したと発表しました。

しかしその後、Epic GamesのCEOであるTim Sweeneyは、Appleが記者団に承認は一時的なものであると語ったことを明らかにした。したがって、Sweeneyは再びAppleと戦う準備ができています。

「Appleは現在、この承認は一時的なものであることを記者団に通知しており、店舗の標準を下げ、使いにくくする次のバージョンのボタンを変更するよう要求しています。私たちはこれと戦うつもりです」とスウィーニーはXに書いています。
