"With Paris, I want to win as much as possible and bring joy to the fans," he added.
The 22-year-old goalkeeper's talent has stolen the world's attention when he appeared for Italy at Euro U-17 2015 and was selected as the best player of the tournament.

This performance opened the opportunity for him to penetrate the Milan first team and make his debut in the Italian League Serie A at the age of 16 years.
At the international level, Donnarumma proved the presumption of the successor to Gianluigi Buffon with his brilliant performance at Euro 2020 where he was also voted the best player of the tournament.
"We are delighted to welcome Gianluigi Donnaruma to Paris Saint-Germain. We congratulate him on his successful performance at Euro 2020 which resulted in winning and the title of best player," said PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi.
"I know Gianluigi will have a warm Parisian welcome from everyone at this club and the fans."
Donnarumma is PSG's fifth signing of the transfer window this summer and the third player to sign for free after midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum and defender Sergio Ramos.
PSG had previously made Danilo Pereira permanent as a loan contract clause from Porto and brought full-back Achraf Hakimi from Inter Milan.

At PSG, Donnarumma will compete with former Real Madrid goalkeeper Keylor Navas who has occupied the number one position at the club since 2019. However, if you look at Donnarumma's slick and good performance at Euro 2020, coach Mauricio Pocchettino is likely to appoint this young goalkeeper as the main goalkeeper.
A sign that Navas' career is over in Paris? Very possible.
