JAKARTA - Toy giants Hasbro and Saudi Entertainment Ventures (SEVEN) are working together to launch the world's first indoor entertainment center with the theme Transformers.

The amusement park will open in three Seven entertainment destinations in Saudi Arabia, as reported by The National News on May 12.

Each park will have an themed attraction and immersive experience that depicts Autobot heroism and Elfcon's evil plans.

With an area of more than 10,000 square meters and designed to attract visitors of all ages, the first Transformers entertainment center will open at the SEVEN entertainment destination in Al Hamra, Riyadh.

Carrying the theme of the planet Cybertron, this entertainment center will have ride-based attractions and an attractive environment to get visitors into the world of action-packed Transformers.

There will also be a lot of merchandise being sold, including items developed specifically for attractions, to places for food and drinks with the theme so that tourists can feel like entering the world occupied by Megatron and Optimus Prime.

The Transformers partnership is the latest deal between Hasbro and Seven, following the signing of an agreement between the two sides to bring the world's first Play-Doh attraction to Saudi Arabia.

A total of eight Play-Doh playgrounds will be opened in various locations throughout the kingdom over the next 10 years.

Designed to inspire creativity and drive children's imaginations, this colorful theme park will have a multilevel playground, sensory discovery area and more.

"Through partnering with Seven in this kingdom, we can bring more truly unique experiences to Transformers and Play-Doh fans. We believe that these immersive new attractions will entertain and please fans and families over the years to come," said Matt Proulx, vice president for location-based entertainment at Hasbro.Inc.

It is known that SEVEN, which is supported by the Public Investment Fund, is building more than 21 large-scale entertainment destinations in 14 cities in Saudi Arabia. The projects are opened in Riyadh, Kharj, Makkah, Jeddah, Taif, Dammam, Khobar, Al Ahsa and other places, as part of the royal focus to diversify the oil business.

"We are once again delighted to partner with Hasbro to bring this iconic brand to the Kingdom," SEVEN Chairman Abdullah Al Dawood said, citing ArabianBusiness.

"We continue to strengthen our position as national champions in the Kingdom entertainment sector, strengthening the entertainment ecosystem with our strategic partnership to present various attractions to be enjoyed by the people of Saudi Arabia," he continued.

SEVEN is investing more than 50 billion Saudi Arabia riyals to build 21 entertainment destinations, which will provide a unique and innovative world-class entertainment experience as well as global partnerships from this sector.
