TANGERANG In order to support community mobility and improve connectivity in the Jakarta area with the South Tangerang satellite city, the Presidential Staff Office (KSP) is optimistic that the construction of the Serpong-Balaraja (Serbaraja) Toll Road Section 1B connecting CBD - Legok will be completed in September 2023. All parties have agreed to tighten the construction schedule. The completion target of construction was pushed forward from December 2023 to September 2023 to September 2023, said KSP Main Expert, Helson Siagian in his statement Friday 9 June.Helson said that the Serbaraja Section 1B Toll Road would complement the existence of Section 1A (BSD-CBD) which was inaugurated first by President Joko Widodo on September 20, 2022. Thus, the total length of toll roads that will operate at Section 1 is 9.84 kilometers. Next, the government will focus more on overseeing the acceleration of land acquisition and physical work in Sections 2 and 3.Helson added that the existence of the Serbaraja Toll Road is very important because it is the initial section of the Jakarta Outer Ring Road 3 (JORR-3) toll road network. Moreover, this project was carried out with the Unsolicited Government Cooperation and Business Entity (KPBU) scheme, aka initiated by the business body, namely PT Trans Bumi Serbaraja as the Toll Road Business Entity Agency (BUJT). This is in line with the government's commitment so that private parties can take a bigger role in the provision of infrastructure in Indonesia, he said. He added, this project has been established as a National Strategic Project (PSN). On the same occasion, Director of PT Trans Bumia Serbaraja Paulus Wawan Koesssoemarjanto explained, the Serbaraja Toll Road along 39.8 kilometers consists of three sections, namely Section 1 BSD-Legok, Section 2 Legok-Pasir Barat, and Section 3 of West-Balaraja Sand.

The investment value of this project reaches IDR 14.36 trillion. This toll road will be connected to the Tangerang-Merak Toll Road and the Kunciran-Serpong Toll Road. Administratively, this toll road crosses the South Tangerang City and Tangerang Regency areas in Banten Province. Meanwhile, the Head of the Banten Provincial BPN Regional Office, Sudaryanto, said that the Ministry of ATR/BPN together with the Ministry of PUPR and the Regional Government had facilitated land acquisition for the Serbaraja Toll Road. Currently, land acquisition in Section 1 has reached 97.68 percent.
