Deputy General Chairperson of Hanura Ahmad Muqowam said that his party was committed to helping win Ganjar Pranowo in the 2024 presidential election.

This was conveyed by Muqowam during a speech at the inauguration of the Ganjar Pranowo Volunteer Aspiration House on Jalan Diponegoro, Central Jakarta, Thursday, June 1.

"It is obligatory for Hanura and me to succeed in Ganjar becoming President in 2024. This is certain," said Muqowam.

He did not forget in his speech to apologize because the General Chairperson of Hanura Oesman Sapta Odang (OSO) was unable to attend the inauguration of the Ganjar Pranowo Volunteer Aspiration House.

However, Muqowam emphasized that Hanura is a political party (political party) that was recorded for the first time announcing support for Ganjar as a candidate for president (candidate) for the 2024 General Election. For this reason, his party is committed not to change support.

"Lastly, what I want to convey, Hanura is the first party to support Ganjar as President of the Republic of Indonesia and that is recorded in history," he said, quoted by ANTARA.

Meanwhile, PPP Chairman Muhamad Mardiono quoted the statement by the Indonesian Proclaimer Soekarno during a speech at the inauguration of the Ganjar Pranowo Volunteer Aspiration House.

Mardiono reasoned that Bung Karno's statement was quoted because the moment of the inauguration of the house of aspirations coincided with the Birthday of Pancasila.

"I just want to quote Bung Karno, the Proclaimer, on June 1, 1945 as the birthday of Pancasila, he said that Pancasila is truly a dynamic basis, one basis that can truly gather all Indonesian people, one basis that really unites the Indonesian people. Therefore, we gather today, June 1, 2023, the Birthday of Pancasila for one purpose, one determination, winning Ganjar Pranowo as President of Indonesia in the 2024 election," said Mardiono.

Mardiono said PPP wants Indonesia's future leader to be a person who can maintain Indonesian unity and integrity.

According to him, Ganjar has a good track record to be the right person in maintaining Indonesia's integrity.

"PPP is committed to no other word, future national leaders must be leaders who unite, there should be no seeds that break national unity. This is PPP's commitment. Therefore, PPP is committed and I am ready to join hands with volunteers throughout Indonesia to be determined to win Ganjar as President of the Republic of Indonesia," he added.
