PRAYA - The Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) handed over a special house for the relocation of residents affected by the construction of the Mandalika Circuit to the Central Lombok Regency government, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB).

"The project for the construction of a special house has been completed, so that the state-owned assets carried out by the Directorate General of Housing of the Ministry of PUPR are handed over to the local government," said Secretary of the Central Lombok Housing and Settlement Area (Perkim) Office, M Sukarman in Praya as reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, May 17.

He said the number of special houses that had been completed by the government for the relocation of residents affected by the construction of the Mandalika Circuit was 120 units in Ngolang Hamlet which were used as relocation sites for the people of Ebunut Hamlet and Ujung Kuta Village, Pujut District.

"The number of relocation houses is in accordance with the number of families (KK) of residents affected by the construction of the Mandalika Circuit," he said.

The government not only built the relocation house, but also built public facilities such as electricity and clean water networks. "Residents have started to occupy the relocation house," he said.

Previously, the Deputy Regent of Central Lombok, HM Nursiah, said that the status of ownership of the land and houses to be given would be the right of the citizens and would be given a certificate.

"What is clear is that the house is ready to be occupied and now there are indeed several facilities that are being completed first," he said.

The location of the new land for the prepared relocation is in Ngolang, Kuta Village, about four kilometers from the previous village, with two hectares of land with supporting facilities such as playgrounds, places of worship, and clean waterways.

"The concept of a special house for the relocation of residents is a growth house," he said.

The special house prepared is with the type 36 Risha structure. Each unit of the house has two rooms, a family room, toilet, and a kitchen and a growing house. "Hopefully the house can be used by residents properly," he said.
