Five Thousand Formula E Tickets Sold A Month Before The Race

JAKARTA - Tickets for the 2023 Formula E audience, which will be held on June 3 and 4, have sold 5 thousand tickets. This was revealed by Project Director of Jakarta E-Prix 2023 Ivan Permana.

Ivan said the tickets that had been sold were early-sold early bid tickets. This ticket purchase is subject to a discount of 20 percent of the price discount from the original price.

"Many tickets have sold up to five thousand tickets for all categories. The tickets sold are early birds and they have been sold out," Ivan said when contacted, Tuesday, May 2.

The sale of early bird tickets expired on April 26. Currently, tickets are starting to sell at normal prices. Ivan said that several regular tickets had been sold, but there was no definite calculation regarding the amount.

"(The total ticket sales) has not reached 10 thousand, really. We're just starting (to sell regular tickets), but it's already sinking," he explained.

In general, the implementation of Formula E in 2023 is no different from last year. PT Jakarta Propertindo (Jakpro) as the organizer provides several categories of viewing tickets that they sell.

There are tickets for the festival's circuit category that sell for IDR 750 thousand. Spectators in this category are welcome to occupy 6 areas without spectator seats.

Then, there is a grandstand ticket, placed on chairs spread across 9 areas around the circuit. This ticket sells for IDR 1 million to IDR 1.5 million per day.

Meanwhile, VIP class tickets in the demand category category are priced at IDR 10 million per day and the royal category sells for IDR 12 million per day.

The electric car racing event which was held in Ancol, North Jakarta was also enlivened by the performances of domestic and foreign musicians. Among them are Alan Walker, Angger Dimas, DJ Yasmin, Judika, Kla Project, Rossa, and RAN.
