JAKARTA - Roger Waters won a legal battle to play a concert in Frankfurt after being originally canceled for alleged 'anisemite'.

The former Pink Floyd frontman was supposed to play in a public-owned Festhalle on May 28, but the Frankfurt City Council canceled the show because of the musician's views on Israel.

They later described Roger as "one of the world's most famous antisemites".

Despite being canceled, Roger said earlier this month he "still came" in an Instagram post with photos of Sophie Scholl's grave, German students and anti-Nazi activists who were sacked through the guillotine in 1943 for distributing anti-war leaflets around Munich University.

The post also informed Roger had filed a court order against the council but had not received a response.

Roger previously indicated that he could take legal action against the motion to cancel his appearance, which he said was "unjustifiable" and an attempt to "silence him".

Now, Frankfurt's administrative court has ruled that Roger can continue the concert.
