JAKARTA - Five major banks have approved a loan restructuring of Rp. 19.28 trillion for PT Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk. This was marked by the signing of the financial business transformation agreement with the five banks.
In an information disclosure on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) website, Wednesday, July 21, the five banks include PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk, PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk, PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk, PT Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI), and PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Jawa Barat and Banten Tbk.
"With the signing of the agreement, the restructuring of credit facilities totals Rp. 19.28 trillion," said Waskita Karya's SVP Corporate Secretary, Ratna Ningrum.
The largest restructuring came from BNI worth Rp9.16 trillion. Then, Bank Mandiri worth IDR 4.61 trillion, BRI IDR 2.79 trillion, BSI IDR 1.71 trillion, and BPD Jabar and Banten IDR 998.22 billion.
The restructuring is divided into two tranches (segments) with an extension of the tenor until December 31, 2026 and the option of an extension until 2031, and adjustment of interest/yield on Islamic loans/financing.
The signing of the restructuring agreement, said Ratna, will have a good impact on business continuity and the company's financial condition going forward.
Previously, SOE Minister Erick Thohir said the restructuring value was equivalent to 65 percent of the total loan of Rp29.26 trillion to all of the company's creditors.
