JAKARTA - Acceleration of industrial implementation 4.0 in Indonesia is carried out through various efforts to increase the competitiveness of the national manufacturing industry and realize Indonesia's economic power to be ranked in the top 10 in the world by 2030.

SMK-SMTI Makassar is one of the high schools belonging to the Ministry of Industry that participated in the From East to be the Best Young Scientist program. The program aims to produce 1,000 young researchers from eastern Nusantara, starting from an online scientific workshop with outputs in the form of the best ideas from students in Indonesia.
"The purpose of implementing this program is to increase the mindset of research, creativity and innovation to create gene Z researchers from eastern Indonesia and strengthen networks between students in innovation and research programs," said Masrokhan.
The implementation of the project, which comes from the best idea, will get funding accompanied by training and assistance. The last phase of this activity is an offline workshop in seven cities and the best idea chosen will be to hold an exhibition at the offline workshop.
The seven cities are potential cities located in the provinces of East Java and South Sulawesi, namely Lamongan, Jember, Surabaya, Pasuruan, Bangkalan, Malang, and Makassar.
"The first workshop tour was successful at SMK-SMTI Makassar on May 6 with the activities of introducing, sharing, experiments, making research, and presentations," he said.
