Surabaya Regional Government Prepares 100 Oxygen Concentrators For COVID-19 Patients At The Shooting Field Hospital
SURABAYA - The Surabaya City Government in East Java Province has prepared 100 units of oxygen concentrators at the Shooting Field Hospital to support the handling of COVID-19 patients.
Head of Public Relations of the Surabaya City Government, Febriadhitya Prajatara in Surabaya, Thursday, July 22, said that the city government provided an oxygen concentrator--a device that can convert free oxygen in the air into purer oxygen--to meet the oxygen needs of patients at the Shooting Field Hospital (RSLT). ).
"Moreover, currently RSLT is not only used to treat OTG and mild symptoms, but also patients with oxygen saturation below 80 percent," he said.
He explained that the Shooting Field Hospital was actually prepared to treat COVID-19 patients with mild and asymptomatic symptoms, but among the patients using the facility there were those whose oxygen saturation was below 80 percent.

He explained that the use of oxygen concentrators had an impact on increasing electricity consumption at the Shooting Field Hospital. "Unexpectedly, it turns out that the capacity is large, around 500 watts per unit (oxygen concentrator). God willing, yesterday there has been an improvement, hopefully there will be no more blackouts," he said while hoping this effort could relieve those exposed to COVID-19. 19 and is being treated at the Surabaya Shooting Field Hospital.
