Not Against Steroid Use In Sports Except Boxing, Mike Tyson: That's Attempted Murder!

JAKARTA - Mike Tyson has criticized the use of steroids in sports that involve physical combat. The reason, according to him, was worried that it could result in death.

Iron Mike's comments came after Jean Pascal was stripped of his WBA light heavyweight title.

Pascal was stripped of his title after being caught using three different performance-enhancing drugs ahead of his bout against Badou Jack on June 6.

"I'm not against steroids or any substance if everyone uses it properly," Tyson said on the 'Hotboxin' with Mike Tyson' podcast.

"But it shouldn't be used in sports where people are physically fighting.

"If you want to use it to run fast or swim faster (go ahead), anything but physical confrontation."

"That's a crime. You're about to hit a man, that's attempted murder!"
