Police Urge 7 Ambulance Robbery Perpetrators To Surrender
JAKARTA - Investigators from the Rejang Lebong Police, Bengkulu, are currently still hunting for seven suspected robbers. They robbed two ambulance officers in the area on July 3, 2021.
Rejang Lebong Police Chief, AKBP Puji Prayitno, said the robbery case experienced by two Public Safety Center (PSC) 119 Rejang Lebong ambulance officers became his side's homework so that the perpetrators would continue to be searched for until they were found.
"The perpetrators have been identified and currently the perpetrators are still being searched for by the Rejang Lebong Police", Puji said in Rejang Lebong, as reported by Antara, Thursday, July 15.
He explained that the search for seven suspected perpetrators of the robbery of the Public Safety Center (PSC) 119 Ambulance Service Rejang Lebong was carried out by a special team formed by the Rejang Lebong Police.
The perpetrators of the robbery of medical personnel by the special team of the Rejang Lebong Police, he said, are targeted to be arrested as soon as possible so that they can be given a punishment commensurate with their actions.

He also appealed to the perpetrators to immediately surrender to the officers because if they do not take decisive action, measurable measures will be taken.
Previously, the robbery of the PSC 119 Ambulance Officer of the Rejang Lebong Health Office occurred in the Curup-Lubuklinggau Cross Road area, Saturday morning, July 3 at around 01.06 WIB, to be precise in the Village of Head Curup, Binduriang District, Rejang Lebong Regency.
These two ambulance officers, consisting of a driver and a nurse, were robbed by seven perpetrators after the BD-9177-KY plate ambulance car intended to return to Curup City after taking the COVID-19 referral patient to the AR Bunda Hospital in Lubuklinggau, South Sumatra.
This robbery occurred when the ambulance driver (M Abdul Kunci) was replacing a broken car tire, which was not long before seven actors pretended to offer their services, and not long after that several other people pointed knives at the nurse (Indah Pertiwi) who was present. beside and several other people held the driver.
As a result of this incident, the two victims lost two cell phones, IDR 150,000 which was used for food and medical equipment. They then reported this case to the Padang Ulak Tanding Police.
