Aceh Kejari Destroys 9 Short Barrel Guns And 150 Ammo For Evidence Of Crime
ACEH - The Banda Aceh District Attorney's Office (Kejari) has destroyed evidence of criminal acts in the form of nine short-barreled firearms and ammunition. The destruction of the evidence after the case has permanent legal force.
"There are nine units of short-barreled firearms along with 150 ammunition, both short-barreled and long-barreled, which are evidence that already has permanent legal force," said Banda Aceh's Chief Prosecutor Edi Ermawan in Banda Aceh, Antara, Thursday, July 15.
In addition to firearms and ammunition, the destruction is carried out on charcoal as evidence of drugs. Among them were 201.82 grams of crystal methamphetamine, 1.5 kilograms of marijuana, an ecstasy pill, six digital scales, 75 cell phones, nine bottles of alcoholic beverages.
The destruction that took place in the yard of the Banda Aceh Prosecutor's Office was carried out by eliminating its functions such as cutting, destroying, and burning.
"The evidence that was destroyed came from 164 criminal cases from October 2020 to June 2021. All of these cases already have permanent legal force or commitment," said Edi Ermawan.
The destruction of evidence in commemoration of the 61st Adhyaksa Day was witnessed by elements of the court, the police, the Banda Aceh City National Narcotics Agency (BNN), and others.
