IBSC 2024 President's Cup Runs Successfully, Metaforce And Enrico Become Champions
Jakarta - Indonesia Beach Soccer Community (IBSC) has successfully held a beach football championship at Pantai Indah Kapuk (PIK) 2, The New Jakarta City, North Jakarta. The championship titled the 2024 IBSC President's Cup will take place on December 13-15, 2024.
Metaforce won in the men's category after beating HW Banten 2-1. Meanwhile, Enrico FC won the women's category after winning 6-1 over HW Verse.
The championship, which was attended by 10 men's teams and four women's teams, went smoothly and presented an interesting spectacle. It is evident from the high enthusiasm of the audience who enlivened the final match.
The President of IBSC, Hinca Pandjaitan, praised the players who competed fairly in play. Even though the final was marked by heavy rain, it did not dampen the spirit of the competing team.
"Three days ago, Indonesia Beach Soccer has successfully organized this activity. I appreciate it, a thumbs up for the team that has competed," he said after the final match in a statement on Sunday, December 15, 2024.

The success of the 2024 IBSC President's Cup is expected to be a trigger for more crowded sports to be introduced to the public.
"I hope this doesn't stop here, but how should we be able to make the event even more lively next year," said Hinca Pandjaitan.
The President of Indonesia Beach Soccer (IBSC), Hinca Pandjaitan, hopes that beach football will become an achievement sport.
He encouraged PSSI to fully support it because beach football was played in the AFF Cup, Asia, World Cup, and is being proposed to the International Olympic Committee (IOC) so that it can be competed in the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics, United States.
One of the steps that can be taken according to the IBSC Predicient is to include beach football as an exhibition sport at the 2028 PON.
"I encourage PSSI with this federation to develop this on a community basis," said Hinca Pandjaitan.
