殺人者の母親 2 ジェンバーのつまずいた子供 うつ病の疑い

Jember Police Chief AKBP M. Nurhidayat said the mother with the initials KK who killed her two biological children was suspected of having severe depression. This allegation is based on the testimony of the victim's husband or father.

"Based on her husband's statement, his wife experienced depression and hallucinations, such as getting an unclear whisper," said the Police Chief as quoted by ANTARA, Saturday, June 17.

The KK was found dead hanging in his house with two of his biological children, namely LA (7 years) and AV (8 months) who were dead on the bed in his room in Bintoro Village, Patrang District, Jember Regency, East Java, Saturday morning.

Inside the house, KK lives with three children, namely the first child who is seven years old with the initials LA, the second child aged six years with the initials RZ, and AV as the third child aged 8 months. However, his second child with the initials RZ survived.

Nurhidayat explained that the perpetrator had also undergone medical treatment at the dr. Soebandi Jember Regional Hospital to treat the depression experienced and her husband who took his wife and children to check regularly.

"The perpetrator also tried several times to hurt himself and his child, but was prevented by the husband and local residents so that they did not die," he said.

Jember Police investigators have also asked for information from a number of witnesses who knew about the incident, including the victim's father, Agus Riyadi, who first found his wife and children dead in the room. At that time, Agus had just returned from selling cilok.

Meanwhile, the Head of Bintoro Village, Thomas Heru, said that the KK was suspected of having a mental disorder, as her husband told the police, but his party fully handed the case over to the Jember Police.

"Officers will also provide assistance to the husband of KK and his number two child who survived so as not to take unwanted actions together," he said.
