New Building Has Become, SMP 16 Semarang Affected By Toll Road Construction Immediately Moves
JATENG - The Semarang City DPRD will immediately review the plan to move students from State Junior High School (SMP) 16 Semarang who were affected by the toll road to a new building, considering that the building has been completed.
Secretary of Commission D of the Semarang City DPRD, Anang Budi Utomo, in Semarang, Friday, said that the new SMPN 16 Semarang building had been built 24 classes even though the supporting facilities were still incomplete.
He hopes that the 24 classes that have been built can be used immediately by being occupied by some students, but it is necessary to study carefully because some of their supporting facilities do not yet exist.
Because, he said, the construction of supporting facilities, such as teacher spaces, libraries, and mosques must be budgeted again at the 2024 Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBD).
"If you use the revised (APBD) budget, it has not been calculated. We are afraid that changes cannot be made in the (APBD). Therefore, later it will be budgeted back in the 2024 APBD," he said, confiscated by Antara.
According to him, the construction of 24 classrooms for SMPN 16 uses the National Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBN) funds through a rollout exchange with a value of around Rp. 11 billion.
Meanwhile, the Semarang City Regional Budget, he said, was used for the construction of the outside side, such as fences, gates, and school fields.

For the construction of supporting spaces that are still lacking, he said, calculations are being carried out, but will be carried out as soon as possible so that students can concentrate on learning.
Therefore, Anang said that Commission D of the Semarang City DPRD will soon invite the local Education Office for a hearing (RDP) to discuss the transfer of SMPN 16 students to a new building.
"Hopefully, this year it can. Whether to move some (students) or have to wait for the next period. That's why we will do the RDP," he said.
The Semarang-Batang toll road construction project has an impact on a number of lands in Semarang City, including SMPN 16 which are planned to be used as access in and out of toll roads.
