Discovery Of Bodies In Sacks, Jakut Police Moves Quickly To Deploy TKP Processing Teams
JAKARTA - The woman's body was found in a sack on Saturday, May 27, located under the Cibitung-Cilincing Sector 4 Toll Road, on the edge of the West Flood Canal, RT 01/RW 02 Marunda Village, Cilincing, North Jakarta (Jakut).
North Jakarta Metro Police Chief Commissioner Gidion Arif Setyawan deployed an Inafis and Health Medicine (Dokkes) team to conduct a crime scene investigation at the location of the discovery.
"We did a check," Gidion told reporters in North Jakarta.
The body was found wrapped in sacks at the location by a scavenger. The discovery of this corpse began when a scavenger was looking for trash under the toll road.
"When looking for garbage, the scavenger saw that there was large plastic near the grass," said an eye witness, Hendri Widrianto (25) at the location.
The scavenger who was curious then opened the black plastic and found that there were sacks tied inside.
After the sacks were opened, it turned out that there was a woman's corpse that had rotted.
"The scavenger immediately called the residents, I happened to be taking a break from drinking ice after fishing," said Hendri, quoted by ANTARA, Saturday, May 27.
"Finally, we both went to the location to open the sack, and indeed in it there was a female corpse, long ears and hair," he said.
After the discovery of this woman's body, residents immediately reported it to the Police. Members from the Cilincing Police and the North Jakarta Metro Police immediately went to the location to process the initial crime scene.
The toll road which is the location where the bodies were found has been examined by officers and a police line has been installed. The body was still in the location and was covered with tarpaulins.
As of before sunset, the location of this incident was still enlivened by residents who were curious about seeing the condition of the corpse even though it smelled a pungent smell at the location.
