Leaving NCT, Sungchan Says Goodbye To Fans
JAKARTA - Sungchan and Shotaro were declared out of NCT on May 24 yesterday. SM Entertainment as the agency explained that the two came out because they would debut with a new group not part of NCT.
On the same day, Sungchan and Shotaro wrote a letter to NCT fans. They expressed their gratitude for their support and appreciation since their introduction as NCT members.
Hello everyone, this is Sungchan! It's been three years since I met you for the first time. I believe members and fans helped me when I was in a foreign situation a few years ago," wrote Sungchan.
He was happy to be part of NCT and even had time to do promotions. The three years he spent with Shotaro and his members also felt very much left good memories.
"It's an honor to be with you for these three years and I make it a beautiful memory. I write down thank you to the members and fans who gave me memories," said Sungchan.
In the future, I will do my best and meet you with a good side. Always thank you and I love you! " he concluded.
Previously, Shotaro also wrote a letter to fans uploaded via Instagram. He asked fans to wait a little longer until they officially debuted.
Sungchan was introduced as a member of NCT on October 12, 2020 through the studio album NCT Resonance Part 1. He took part in the song Misfit where he demonstrated his singing skills for the first time.
Then, he also participated in several other NCT songs. He was appointed as presenter for the Inkigayo event on SBS in 2021. Although he has not officially debuted in the NCT sub unit, Sungchan has become an ambassador for several South Korean brands.
On the other hand, Sungchan was confirmed to debut in the new men's K-pop group but not part of the NCT sub unit. Until now, the names of Sungchan and Shotaro still occupy trending social media topics.
