ジョコウィがSMK PPN 1ノースラブハンバツを訪問し、非常に重要な実践を強調
JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo emphasized that vocational high schools (SMK) are the key to the progress of the country so that they need to get adequate practicum lessons.
This statement was conveyed by President Jokowi after directly observing the State Development Agricultural Vocational School (PPN) 1 South Kualuh, North Labuhanbatu Regency, North Sumatra, Wednesday, May 17.
"At SMK, 60-70 percent should be practice so that the place of practice becomes very important," said the President, according to a written statement reported by ANTARA.
When reviewing VAT 1 Vocational High School with the agriculture and plantation majors, the President, among other things, saw plant breeding, especially palm oil.
Jokowi assesses that the seeds are quite good, but the nursery requires an increase so that students can see firsthand how the farming process is good.
"These children must be shown how to do good farming, how to do good gardening so that we will indeed help to improve this," he said.
In addition to agricultural practice, the President will help repair the livestock practice place in SMK, especially the cage. The President said that his party would help send a number of livestock to VAT 1 Vocational Schools so that they could be used as a means of learning.
"The livestock is also a cage. What kind of good cages are clean, what are the clean ones like, and what kind of fat goats will I send goats, sheep, then chickens, ducks, everything, so that there are many examples that can be taught by the teacher's father and mother to the students here," he explained.
