プラボウォ:先進国になるための鍵は協力と柱です

JAKARTA - Minister of Defense (Menhan) Prabowo Subianto said that the cooperation and harmony of all parties, including the community and the nation's elite, is the key to the success and revival of the country into a developed country.

"The key to the success and revival of a country into a developed country is that all nations and especially their elites can cooperate (and) get along well," Prabowo said after the agenda with the National Police Retired Association (PP) in Jakarta as reported by ANTARA, Monday, May 15.

Prabowo said he discussed a lot about the cooperation and harmony in his meeting with the National Police PP.

However, Prabowo said the two keys were not easy to implement. Therefore, he encouraged all parties to intensify power and efforts to realize an advanced Indonesia.

"This is easy to say, difficult to implement, but we have to try. We have to be united, we have to be solid," said Prabowo.

He also said that Indonesia is a country rich in ethnicity, religion, race, and ethnic groups. So that all differences do not become material for division, Prabowo reminded all parties to apply the concept of Bhinneka Tunggal Ika.

"We have many ethnicities, religions, races, ethnic groups, but we have to work together as a big family and we have to be calm, respect each other and support each other," Prabowo ordered.

Prabowo held a gathering with the National Police PP extended family at the Central Police PP Office, Jl. Darmawangsa III, South Jakarta. Met after the agenda, Prabowo was reluctant to talk much about politics.

"This is not allowed for politics here. There is no politics," said Prabowo.

Prabowo said the closed agenda discussed the current situation and condition of the Indonesian nation. He reminded that the public should be grateful for the success of the Indonesian government, especially after the COVID-19 pandemic.

"I have the opportunity to also convey the situation of the nation's condition many times on various occasions, conveyed by the President, that we should be grateful for the success of the Indonesian nation until now," said Prabowo.

He assessed that Indonesia is one of the countries that has succeeded in overcoming the COVID-19 crisis. The reason is, Indonesia can overcome the pandemic problem relatively quickly without sacrificing economic conditions and still protect all levels of society.
