Viral SMAN 3 Bandung Study Tour Using Train, KAI: Can Be Hired, Ordered H-7

JAKARTA - Viral on social media, the group of SMAN 3 Bandung study tours to Denpasar, Bali by renting an executive class train. Related to this, PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) or KAI opened its voice.

KAI's VP of Public Relations Joni Martinus said that KAI does provide Extraordinary Trains (KLB) that can be rented by customers and can determine the type of train, schedule, and departure and arrival stations.

Joni said, the SMAN 3 Bandung group traveled from Bandung Station on Friday, May 12 at 06.20 to Surabaya Gubeng Station, coming on the same day at 17.06.

"In one series of KLB SMAN 3 Bandung, it uses 7 executive class carriages with a capacity of 350 passengers," Joni told reporters, Sunday, May 14.

Joni said people who want to also rent KLB such as the Bandung SMAN 3 group can contact KAI through the KAI Contact Center at telephone number 121 or via WhatsApp 08111-2111-121.

"It can also be via email cs@kai.id, KAI121 social media, or customer service at the station," he said.

Furthermore, continued Joni, prospective customers submitted a letter requesting group transportation containing the number of passengers, relations, and travel schedules.

"After that, KAI will check the availability of the series and make a tariff offer. If an agreement has been made, then an agreement report will be made," he explained.

In the minutes of this agreement, Lata Joni, there is a down payment that must be paid. If the DP has been paid, KAI will prepare the fire train facilities.

Joni said that prospective KLB customers are expected to register at least D-7 before departure. This is because KAI needs to prepare all aspects so that KLB services are optimal.
