Congestion, Car Parking Vehicles Careless During Lebaran Topat In NTB Will Be Towed

NTB - Director of Traffic of the West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) Police Commissioner (Kombes) Djoni Widodo said he would take firm action against vehicles parked carelessly during the celebration of "Lebaran Topat".

"Especially for those who park on the shoulder of the road around tourist areas. If someone parks their vehicle carelessly, we will tow them," said Djoni in Mataram, NTB, Friday, April 28, which was confiscated by Antara.

Djoni said this was based on the results of an evaluation of the celebration of "Lebaran Topat" in the previous year. Vehicles parked carelessly are the main cause of traffic jams in tourist areas.

Dirlantas has ordered the ranks of the traffic unit (satlantas) of the police to alert tow trucks in every tourist area which is the public's favorite destination to celebrate "Lebaran Topolat".

"Like in Batulayar, West Lombok Regency. There is a tomb on the side of the road which is a pilgrimage place during the 'Lebaran Topat'. The location is also close to the coastal tourist area, there a crane will be alerted," he said.

Furthermore, Djoni said that in actively securing traffic flow during the "Lebaran Topolate", Saturday, April 29, his party deployed 1,076 traffic personnel, both from the NTB Regional Police and the police.
