Not Nominated, HUNTR/X Trio to Appear at the 2026 BAFTA Awards
JAKARTA - The trio HUNTR/X has been confirmed to perform at the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) Film Awards 2026. They will perform the hit song Golden from the KPop film Demon Hunters.
The trio HUNTR/X or EJAE, Audrey Nuna, and Rei Ami will perform the song. Although the KPop Demon Hunters film or the soundtrack album did not receive any nominations, they were confirmed to be present.
This is because the film KPop Demon Hunters does not meet the nomination requirements, namely the time of screening in cinemas within a certain period of time.
"Being present at the EE BAFTA Film Awards is a golden moment we never imagined," said EJAE, Audrey Nuna, and Rei Ami in their statement.
"We are very proud to represent 'KPop Demon Hunters' and spread a positive message to fans around the world," he said.
The appearance at BAFTA will mark HUNTR/X's first appearance after in the United States. The event committee welcomed the presence of KPop Demon Hunters.
"KPop Demon Hunters has had a phenomenal impact on the hearts and minds of audiences around the world since its release last summer so we're bringing HUNTR/X and their energy to the BAFTA Film Awards," said Emma Baehr, BAFTA's executive director.
Meanwhile, the 2026 BAFTA Film Awards will be held on February 22 at the Royal Festival Hall in London.
