KPop Demon Hunters Win Grammy, First from K-Pop

JAKARTA - The KPop film Demon Hunters has once again set a record. The film won the first award for the K-Pop genre thanks to the song Golden.

Held on Sunday, February 1 local time, KPop Demon Hunters were represented by Ejae, Audrey Nuna, and Rei Ami who were the voice actors for the songs HUNTR/X. All three were present to represent the nominations received by KPop Demon Hunters.

In addition to singing, EJAE also helped create the song and voice the character Rumi. He worked on the song with Mark Sonnenblick, TEDDY, 24, and the IDO trio (Lee Yu Han, Kwak Joong Gyu, and Nam Hee Dong).

This achievement became the first K-Pop song to win the 2025 Grammy Award. Although it has been nominated several times, this is the first time that a K-pop song has won.

The song Golden from KPop Demon Hunters won the Best Song Written for Visual Media category. This song managed to beat "As Alive As You Need Me To Be" ("TRON: Ares"), "I Lied to You" ("Sinners"), "Never Too Late" ("Elton John: Never Too Late"), "Pale, Pale Moon" ("Sinners"), and "Sinners" ("Sinners").

Several achievements were obtained by the film KPop Demon Hunters after it aired on Netflix in 2025. This film became the most watched film of all time.
