Eating Instant Noodles Every Day, Safe And Can Survive?

JAKARTA instant noodles are one of the most popular foods in Indonesia. From boarding houses to workers who are busy even during natural disasters, instant noodles are often a savior.

But the question that often arises is "Can the body survive only with instant noodles every day?" The answer is technically possible, but not a good idea at all.

It's hard not to fall in love with instant noodles. The price is pocket friendly, easy to cook, and tastes good. Especially if you are used to eating it from a young age, or living overseas, a bowl of instant noodles can feel more like home food than other foods.

However, nostalgia cannot replace nutrition. Reporting from the international VICE page, nutritionists say instant noodles make you full, but the nutritional content is minimal.

Most of the high-instant noodles sodium (garm), which is enough to make cardiologists live. Some brands can meet more than half of the daily salt needs in just one meal. Plus, instant noodles are generally low in fiber, protein, and vitamins.

No wonder health experts call instant noodles a shadow of whole, warm, delicious, but malnourished foods.

Many people feel fine even though they often eat instant noodles. But research says otherwise. A study in South Korea found that people who consume instant noodles several times a week are more at risk of developing metabolic syndrome, a group of conditions that can trigger heart disease and diabetes.

Interestingly, the impact is greater on women. The researchers suspect this could be related to hormonal differences or chemicals from plastic packaging that dissolve into the soup.

Keep in mind, instant noodles are not an enemy to avoid. The problem is the way you consume them. Instant noodles are not designed as the main source of nutrition. If you try hungry occasionally or solutions at the end of the month, it doesn't matter. But if it's a daily menu, it's definitely risky for your health.

The good news is that risks can be suppressed if instant noodles are not eaten innocently. Adding vegetables, eggs, tofu, chicken, or side dishes can help improve the nutritional content. That way, the body still gets additional nutritional intake.
