France Condemns Israel's Plan To Take Over Total Gaza
JAKARTA - France condemns Israel's plans to occupy the Gaza Strip, Palestine. France reiterated its "firm opposition" to the plan.
"France condemns the plan adopted last night by the Israeli government to expand its military operations again to control Gaza City, with the aim of controlling the entire Gaza Strip militarily," the French Foreign Ministry wrote.
The French Foreign Ministry reiterated Paris' "firm opposition" to any plans to occupy the Gaza Strip and forcibly evicted its residents.
France underlined the measure as a step towards "serious violations of international law" and "absolute plant."
"This action will damage the legitimate aspirations of the Palestinian people to live in peace in a viable, sovereign, and neighboring country, and will pose a threat to regional stability," the ministry said.
The French Foreign Ministry reiterated France will continue to strive to realize a two-state solution, stressing the future of Gaza "must be part of a future Palestinian state led by the Palestinian Authority."
"France will continue the work started in New York, along with its partners and the United Nations, to deploy a temporary international stabilization mission to ensure the security of Israelis and Palestinians," he said.

"France calls on its partners and all other countries to join this collective effort," he said referring to the latest conference on two-state solutions.
On social media X, French Foreign Minister Jean-Noel Barrut also condemned Israel's plans.
"France condemns the Israeli government's plan to prepare a full occupation of Gaza. Such operations will exacerbate the already bad situation without allowing the release of Hamas hostages, their ceasefire, or their surrenders," he wrote.
