Neighbors Call The Young Diplomat Of The Ministry Of Foreign Affairs Who Died Dilaban Likes To Greet And Give A Smile

JAKARTA - Arya Daru Pangayunan (39), Functional Diplomat Muda, Directorate of Protection of Indonesian Citizens, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia is known by neighbors as a quiet man and rarely socializes to other boarding neighbors.

"If you find him, make a smile. But never ask his name. If he finds him every morning, he rides a motorbike, rides a car. I ride a motorbike, just say (say Hello) hello, that's all," said Birvan (39), the victim's boarding house neighbor to reporters, Tuesday, July 8, evening.

Birvan said the victim never chatted with himself when he passed in the boarding house area every day.

"Yes, that's how it is, never chatting. But smiling, he's okay too," he said.

But to his knowledge, every weekend, the victim seemed not to be in his boarding room.

"Every weekend, as far as I remember, he wasn't here. Maybe he returned to Jogja this time, but every weekend he didn't have one," he said.

However, Arya's daily routine during life, only seemed to be limited to going and returning from work at the Indekost.

"Just going home from work, going to work. I'll go out later, I'll go look for food or racing a car. I often meet them like that," he said.

Previously, it was reported that a man was found dead with a yellow duct tape wrapped in the 'Gues House Gondia' indecoth in room 105, Jalan Gondangdia Kecil, No 22, Cikini Village, Menteng District, Central Jakarta, Tuesday, July 8.

The victim is known to have the initials ADP (39) from Yogyakarta, Central Java. According to witness testimony, Siswanto, on Tuesday morning at around 00.30 WIB, he was called by the victim's wife that he had lost contact with her husband.

Then Siswanto was told to dredge the victim's room that night, but the witness did not hear any answer from the victim.

"In the morning the victim's wife called at 05.00 WIB to re-check the victim's room and report to the owner of Kosan Gues House Gondia," Siswanto said in his statement to the police.

After that, Siswanto opened the door of the victim's room using a duplicate key and found the victim covered in a blanket.

"The victim has died, his face has been filled with duct tape," he said.

Then the incident was reported to the Menteng Metro Police. Meanwhile, the Menteng Metro Police forwarded a report to the Central Jakarta Metro Police Inafis Team for identification of the victim's body.
