Galimax Still Discussed, Bimo Reveals Main Focus On Integrity

JAKARTA - The Director General (Dirjen) of Bimo Wijayanto Taxes has opened its voice regarding the development of the tax reform roadmap program, especially related to the Core System of Tax Administration or beliax.

Bimo revealed that the current development is still in the process of in-depth discussion related to the beliax and it is estimated that it will take about a week to complete it thoroughly.

"No, I haven't finished the one-on-one yet. It took a week for one-on-one to Cortex," he told the media crew, Monday, May 27.

Bimo emphasized that after his inauguration on Friday, he had not yet completed a one-on-one meeting for Cortex, so he could not provide more detailed information.

However, he said that his party would take advantage of the period of retention period until December to really examine things that needed to be reformed so that performance could be accelerated.

"No, I haven't finished one-on-one yet. But at least we take advantage of the period retention opportunity until December. We will really see what we have to do... Yes, we reform to be more accelerated, yes, performance," he explained.

He also added that during this period of retention there were limitations, so it took time to map all strategic issues and things that were still delayed.

"Then, but the problem is that we are currently still in retention period. So just wait. Later I will be asked by the Minister of Finance to ask me one month to really map all pending matters, strategic issues," he said.

Therefore, Bimo plans that in the future it will explain more complete information, including topics such as Cortex and other strategic policies which are the result of directives and approvals from the Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani and the President of the Republic of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto.

He emphasized that the main focus in the future is on the aspect of integrity, namely data integrity, systems, human resources, and institutions.

"The key to integrity is the integrity of data, integrity system, our human capital integrity, and our institution's integrity, so while it's waiting, hopefully, my less than one month will update," concluded Bimo.
