JAKARTA - In the last three years, the real-World Assets (RWA) tokenization sector recorded tremendous growth. Total value locked (Total Value Locked/TVL) in this sector hit an all-time high of 8.217 billion US dollars (around Rp133 trillion), according to new data from DeFiLlama. In fact, in the last seven days alone, this sector added more than $1 billion (Rp16.2 trillion) to its TVL.
Dua platform utama, Usual dan Hashnote, menjadi penyumbangan terbesar pertumbuhan ini. TVL Hashnote naik 65,58% dalam sepekan menjadi 1,497 miliar dolar AS (Rp24,25 triliun), sementara Usual mencatatkan kenaikan serupa sebesar 65,65%, mencapai 1,445 miliar dolar AS (Rp23,39 triliun).
Over the past month, Usual recorded a 230% TVL spike, while Hashnote rose 217%. Together, these two platforms account for more than 35% of the total value locked in the RWA sector.
Usual growth was largely driven by Series A funding of US$10 million (Rp162 billion) led by Binance Labs and Kraken Ventures. In addition, the increase in the price of governance tokens to the highest level has only strengthened the performance of this platform, although security issues have been hit over the hacking of the Government's Department of Efficiency's X account (D.O.G.E.).

In addition to the two big players, other platforms such as Nest Staking, MatrixDock, Franklin Templeton, and Ethena also recorded significant increases. Nest Staking, for example, experienced a weekly increase of more than 58%, bringing its TVL to 66.24 million US dollars (Rp1.07 trillion).
The MatrixDock, operating on two blockchains, rose 48.18%, while Ethena recorded a smaller increase, which was 12.38%.
Even so, not all protocols enjoy similar growth. Some platforms such as Solv Protocol, DigiFT, Danogo, KlimaDAO, and Fortunafi experienced a decline in locked value. Danogo recorded the biggest decline, losing more than 15% of its TVL in a week, with a total current value of 4 million US dollars (Rp64.8 billion).
Solv Protocol, one of the majorly capitalized projects, has also lost more than 10% of its TVL in the past week, down to $712.81 million.
Recently, the lithium mining sector in Argentina announced plans for trillions of dollars in industrial tokenization with Cardano's help. In addition, financial giants like BlackRock continue to encourage the legitimacy of this sector through their BUIDL initiatives. With this trend, the RWA sector is projected to continue to attract the attention of big investors.
