JAKARTA - Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison presents IDCamp Gen AI Bootcamp 2024: Generative Teachers and IDCamp for Disabilities 2024, to encourage digital literacy inclusion in Indonesia.
The initiative will provide artificial intelligence curriculum (AI) training which is attended by 526 elementary to middle school teachers and 74 disabled participants, including people with physical, deaf, deaf, and netra disabilities.
Through this initiative, Indosat also emphasized its commitment to provide benefits to the entire community without exception, especially in developing digital talent in Indonesia.
"With the support of technology and AI learning and creating an inclusive learning experience, Indosat is preparing participants to face global challenges with effective and adaptive new skills," said Steve Saerang, SVP Head of Corporate Communications Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison in an official broadcast quoted on Sunday, December 29.
For teachers, through a program packaged with 8 live sessions, Indosat will teach them about the concept and how to implement AI in the world of education. So that teachers are expected to be able to apply it in their teaching and learning activities.
Because, Indosat believes AI technology also has the potential to bring significant changes in the teaching and learning process, including automatication of administrative tasks so that teachers can focus more on direct interactions with students.

As for people with disabilities, Steve said that this program was designed to equip friends with disabilities with digital skills that had real impacts.
"The use of AI not only increases teaching efficiency and automates administrative tasks, but also creates a more adaptive and inclusive learning experience," concluded Steve.
