Chandrayaan-3 Explorer Finds Belerang In The Moon's Land

JAKARTA The Chandrayaan-3 lunar rover had carried out its mission before hiberning. From the exploration that had been done, Chandrayaan-3 managed to obtain very important information.

In data shared by the Indian Space Research Organization, Chandrayaan-3 detected elements such as iron, titanium, aluminum, and calcium in lunar soil. Not only that, other data shows the discovery of sulfur or sulfur.

Quoted fromSpace, floods are usually found in rock and soil, but the concentration is fairly low. With this detection, sulfur concentration may be higher than expected.

sulfur measurements have become very attractive to scientists as these findings show a different fundamental composition on the land of the moon's polar and in the lunar equator.

In addition, detected sulfur may have formed from a very thin lunar atmosphere. However, it is not impossible that this sulfur originated from an ancient volcanic eruption or from a sulfur-graining meteorite that hit the lunar surface.

Belerang itself can be used as a resource for astronauts. They can make solar cells and batteries with sulfur to make sulfur-based concrete for construction.

Currently, scientists at India's Space Research Organization are trashing the data they got from Chandrayaan-3 while waiting for this month's rover to wake up.

If later the Chandrayan-3 lander, namelyction and Prayian, is built, scientists hope that this month's rover can return to measurements on lunar soil.
