JAKARTA - PhonePe, India's largest digital payment application officially launched the latest Android application store, the Appstore Developer Platform on Saturday, September 23 yesterday.

With this launch, PhonePe invites all Android app developers to immediately register and start marketing their products with its own developer platform to the Appstore Identification.

This app store will later offer local experience in 12 languages, which are fully adapted to Indian audiences.

Interestingly, PhonePe said it would not charge developers any registration fees for the first year, but switch to 'nominal' fees afterward.

Developers will be free to integrate their own options payment services within their apps.

The startup will also not charge a commission for in-app purchases, compared to Google's 15-30 percent rate. They said that the Appstore Identification Identification was formed to address concerns local developers are dissatisfied with Google's response.
