JAKARTA - Spotify introduced a new commercial program called Confidence.

Program ini dibuat untuk tim pengembangan software untuk mengatur, jalankan, mengoordinatekan, dan menalysis tes pengguna mereka sendiri.

It can be interpreted that this new program makes it easier for developers to be able to optimize their ideas by testing users before the product is ready to launch, using Spotify's experimental platform.

So Spotify seems to be working on sharing its experimental methodology they've been using with other companies, and bringing data-based decision-making benefits to a wider audience.

"Based on everything we've learned over the past 10 years about what's needed to enable experiments on scale, this platform makes it easier for teams to set up, execute, coordinate, and analyze their own user tests," wrote Spotify's Head of Technology and Platform Tyson Singer.

At @Spotify, we're externalizing our experimentation platform — Confidence (now available in private beta). Read about Confidence on our Engineering blog and sign up to learn more. https://t.co/w1M0To5BUwhttps://t.co/BokkGi5PJB#experimentation pic.twitter.com/Cbdv0G78mh

Currently, Spotify says the Confidence program is still available as a personal beta, meaning not all developers can use this Spotify experiment tool.

However, the company also insists it will expand the availability of this experimental platform to any company that wants to build, test and repeat their ideas.

"As our vision for what Spotify can expand, as well as our need for an experimental platform that can improve and offset us. So that's what we're building. And that's what allows the experimental culture on Spotify to develop today," the company explained.
