JAKARTA - Instagram has re-launched the ability to upload Feeds posts that are more private, and can only be seen by the user's closest friends.

According to app researcher Alessandro Paluzzi, Instagram is working on an option to make posts visible only to Close Friends.

This means that users can freely post silly and all kinds of content that no one wants everyone to see in Feeds, except their closest friends.

In addition to personal photos and videos, content creators and influencers can have other ways to monetize their content by adding exclusive information for Close Friends.

This feature has actually been launched by Instagram in Stories, where users can also upload photos or videos for their close friends.

Paluzzi explained via his official Twitter, when posting on Feeds, there will be a new Audience tab where users can choose between everyone and Close Friends.

This way, Feeds can have exclusive content for certain people. However, it is unclear when Instagram plans to release this feature and whether the Close Friends list will also be the same as it has been for Stories before.

Citing BGR, Saturday, May 6, recently social media owned by Meta announced a new feature where users can add a soundtrack to photo posts in Feed.

In addition, the feature is also being tested on carousel posts and even on Notes. Not only that, users can finally add multiple links to their bio.
