Snap Inc. Launch ARES, AR Manufacturer Tool For Business

JAKARTA - You could say, Snap is a leader in Augmented Reality technology, with today's world-class technology. If users are familiar with Snapchat's AR Lens, now the company is expanding its AR technology to the company by launching AR Enterprise Services (ARES).

"We are pleased to introduce AR Enterprise Services (ARES), a new way for businesses to integrate Snap's AR technology series into their own physical applications, websites and locations," Snap said in its announcement, quoted Friday, March 24.

As the first offer for ARES, Snap Inc. introduced Shopping Suite, which provides 3D Viewer features, AR Try-On, Fit Finder, and so on, directly on the seller's application and website.

With Shopping Suite, businesses can create digital versions of their own products, including finished clothes, footwear, and glasses or so directly from their own app or website without having to own the Snapchat app.

Then, businesses can also integrate Snapchat's interactive 3D AR Try-On, Fit Finder, and Snapchat's interactive 3D Performers technology into their own apps and websites, and offer the ability to accept regularity and size recommendations, try or view products in augmented reality, and interact with products in 3D to customers.

"Through this offer, buyers around the world will enjoy a more immersive and personal online shopping experience, with a set of advanced tools that will help them find the right products for sure," the company concluded further.

In addition, the venture is led by Jill Popelka, who joins Snap as AR's Company Service Head and builds a global team that includes strategy, customer experience, sales, products, product marketing, customer support, and ecosystem development.
