JAKARTA - Kia Corporation today, March 15, released an image of Kia EV9 2024 complete from exterior and interior designs. Well, judging from the appearance similar to the concept car launched at the 2021 Los Angeles Auto Show.

There has been no official leak regarding the price, strength and reach. If back to the concept again, Kia EV9 is the Kia's first three-line all-electric SUV.

"Kia EV9 will provide extraordinary experience and comfort not only for drivers, but all passengers, through its interior space, innovative technology, and design," said Karim Habib, head of the Kia design team.

Kia said the exterior of the car was inspired by the philosophy (Bold for Nature) of a combination of natural elements and the material world. Kia EV9's exterior design is also referred to as a way for future electric SUV designs.

Overall, this electric SUV design has a box shape along the side with firm lines. The firm display is also reinforced by the triangular shape sepabor structure with a geometric wheel arch that stands out combined with the body of the car.

EV9's front light also stole the show with its innovative feature Star Map daytime running lights (DRL) producing various lighting patterns. Likewise, the back of the car with sleek tail lights.

Functioned as a family SUV, the Kia designer team prioritizes the Kia EV9 interior with a spacious space, providing convenience, and advanced technology features for all passengers. That is possible because Kia EV9 is built on the Electric Global Modular Platform (E-GMP), which allows the creation of a wide space for all passengers to connect and relax with the convenience of the lounge style in three rows of seats.

Kia EV 9, available in six and seven seats. Well, passengers sitting in the first and second row seats can simultaneously donate their seats to relax and rest while EV9 is charging. Seats in the second row can also be easily rotated 180 degrees so passengers can interact with those in the third row. The third row seat also offers drinking and charging place for mobile devices.

Well, it is reported that Kia EV9 will enter the global market in 2024 and will face Tesla, Mercedes, and Rivian, who first released three-line electric SUVs.
