JAKARTA - The last time Microsoft raised the limit for 60 rounds of chat on its Bing Chat AI to 100 rounds a day, now the company is quietly turning it into 120 laps.

Head of Consumer Marketing at Microsoft, Yusuf Mehdi revealed on his Twitter page, where the Bing Chat service now allows 120 daily rounds.

This increase came after several responses saying Bing Chat was unstable due to its high turn limit on its debut. This is the second time in a week that Microsoft has raised its turn limit to Bing Chat.

Head of Microsoft's Advertising and Web Service, Mikhail Parakhin also stated the change through his Twitter account, while revealing how Bing Chat experienced brief regression in the chat limit per session from eight to six.

In response to a question in Parakhin's Twitter thread about how many documents Bing Chat can process, he replied, "Yes, that's the length of context that I keep talking about. Hopefully, I can share more in a week," Parakhin tweeted.

Parakhin's statement could be a hint that Microsoft will have further plans to update Bing Chat in the near future.

Microsoft recently raised the daily lap limit from 60 laps a day to 100 laps in a major update launched on February 24.

When Bing Chat was still in its public preview in early February, the service supported 50 daily rounds, which quickly reached up to 60 daily rounds of interest from users.

For information, the company also recently launched a chatbot into the Windows 11 taskbar, and integrated it into Skype. This was quoted from Digital Trends, Thursday, March 9.
